Chaps for the Bold and Powerful....
My chaps are one of a kind wearable art, inspired by the cowgirls who wear them. Both share the same qualities. Strong yet soft; bold, protective, tough, and equally feminine and a bit flirty; both conventional and unique. Traditional chap principles of form, function and durability are very important to me. These values are the foundation upon which I base my work. Tradition with a literal twist and a lot of flare. When making a custom pair of chaps, I strive to capture my client’s personality, the spark that lights them up, and put those qualities into their chaps, matching outwardly their inner beauty. Sometimes I make chaps and their cowgirl finds her way to them. They always fit as if made just for her; it never fails, it’s meant to be.
All chaps are named, numbered, and come with a Certificate of Authenticity, a custom hanger and a chap bag.

I am one of 56 juried women artists taking part in the "Women's Work" Art Exhibition at the A.R. Mitchell Museum of Western Art in Trinidad, Colorado . The show starts August 2, 2024 and runs through September .
